And as a side note, I work in 50-minute increments (using the Pomodoro Technique), and in the 10-minute breaks, I always step away from my desk and stretch my legs, taking a little stroll around the house.

I have two windows in my room, which gives me plenty of natural light during the day. And a little swivel lamp for when I work during the evening and darker times.

I love to have my radiator under my desk by my legs and feet. I know that when those are cold, it keeps lingering in the back of my mind, and my focus is lacking. During summer, I can open up my two windows and I have a little fan nearby to cool me down.
